Daily responsibilities:

• Create rigs for 3D characters and animals models using MAYA 
• Create rigs for 3D vehicles and props 
• Work closely  with the Modelling Department to ensure that models are suitable for rigging and performance requirements
• Work with the Supervisor and execute corrections.
• Support rigs as they move through the animation pipeline and developing supplementary Animation tools and processes
• A good artistic eye and sense of anatomy

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in feature animation, VFX, and/or animated television with a focus in Rigging
• Proficiency with Maya
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage communication 
• Ability to comfortably work to specs as precisely or as creatively as a brief outline
• Knowledge of ShotGrid ( Shotgun) is a plus.
• Maintain a good team dynamics
• Extra points:
  ● The ability to work in additional softwares which might be help to speed your workflows
  up. Example being: Blender, Houdini.
  ● Ability to predict issues that might arise during the production pipeline from the way
  assets are being done

Work location: Wrocław/Poland, Remote

Daily responsibilities:
– Create accurate digital assets from the supplied reference material and/or concept artwork
– Good knowledge of adjusting proper UV’s, working closely with a lead of assets to ensure UVs are positioned and scaled efficiently
– Ability to work very close with animators, and riggers to resolve any technical issues and optimize assets for animation or simulation and cooperate with lighting TD’s to ensure assets are optimized for efficient rendering
– Provide lead of assets with progress reports

Requirements:
– Earlier 3+ years of proven experience as an Asset Artist or similar
– Knowledge of Maya, Substance Painter, and Zbrush
– Exceptional subdivision surface, character modeling skills, and the ability to apply and manage proper UVs
– Thorough understanding of the modeling process and the ability to both interpret designs and accurately match photographic reference material or concept art
– Good ability to work well in a team and solve asset-specific issues independently
– Desire to lead and train other Artists in a team
– Being able to participate in a technical conversation/discussion to help with streamlining the 3D asset creation
– Good command of written and spoken English and any other language is an asset

Extra points:
– Ability to work in other programs like Blender, 3ds max, Modo, Houdini, Mari, and Substance Designer will be a big plus
– Ability to predict issues that might arise during the production pipeline from the way you do your assets
– Practical knowledge of Shotgrid

– Shot-blocking and framing

Qualifications:
– At least 2 years of experience desired in a relevant field
– Excellent knowledge of Maya
– Strong ability in narration and a working knowledge of the principles of staging, blocking, and camera work
– Great sense of movement & dynamics
– Great understanding of animation and film edit
– Delivering on schedule
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Ability to communicate and to be well-organized
– Good command of written and spoken English and any other language is an asset
