You will:
– Learn the production of high-quality 3D artwork and animation
– Create characters and asset animation
– Create layouts (previz) and edits
– Shot-blocking and framing

Qualifications:
– At least 2 years of experience desired in a relevant field
– Excellent knowledge of Maya
– Strong ability in narration and a working knowledge of the principles of staging, blocking, and camera work
– Great sense of movement & dynamics
– Great understanding of animation and film edit
– Delivering on schedule
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Ability to communicate and to be well-organized
– Good command of written and spoken English and any other language is an asset

Wrocław/Poland, or Remote

Daily responsibilities:
– Create rigs for 3D characters and animal models using Maya
– Create rigs for 3D vehicles and props
– Collaborate closely with the Modeling Department to ensure models are suitable for rigging and meet performance requirements
– Work with the Supervisor to execute corrections and improvements
– Support rigs as they progress through the animation pipeline, developing supplementary animation tools and processes

Requirements:
– 2+ years’ experience in feature animation, VFX, and/or animated television with a focus on Rigging
– Proficiency with Maya
– Demonstrate a good artistic eye and a strong understanding of anatomy
– Ability to work comfortably within specifications or creatively interpret a brief
– Familiarity with asset management tools like Shotgun is a plus
– Ability to maintain positive team dynamics

Extra points:
– Experience with additional software that can optimize your workflow, such as Blender or Houdini
– Ability to foresee potential issues in the production pipeline based on asset creation processes
